Data governance

Privacy protocol.

Effective January 1, 2026. Last updated March 1, 2026.

01

Overview

Forevue Systems International (“Forevue,” “we,” “us”) operates an Intelligence Layer designed for law enforcement pre-offer screening. This Privacy Protocol describes how Forevue collects, uses, stores, and protects personally identifiable information (PII) from applicants, agency administrators, and platform users.

Forevue is committed to meeting or exceeding the data handling requirements outlined in the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy, applicable state privacy laws, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to the extent applicable to pre-employment behavioral assessments.

02

Information collected

Applicant data

Forevue collects biographical information, employment history, behavioral questionnaire responses, and related disclosures provided directly by applicants through encrypted questionnaire links. This data is submitted voluntarily as part of the pre-offer screening process initiated by the hiring agency.

Agency administrator data

Agency accounts include administrator names, email addresses, role assignments, and activity logs necessary for platform access control and audit compliance.

Platform usage data

Forevue collects anonymized usage analytics, error logs, and performance metrics to improve platform reliability. This data does not contain PII and cannot be linked to individual applicants.

03

Data encryption and storage

All PII is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit via TLS 1.3. Database access is restricted to authenticated, role-authorized service accounts.

Applicant questionnaire responses are stored in isolated, agency-scoped collections within secure managed cloud databases, ensuring cross-agency data segregation. Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, and other high-sensitivity fields are stored in dedicated encrypted fields with access logging.

04

Data retention and deletion

Applicant PII is retained for the duration specified by the agency's subscription tier (90 days to custom periods). Upon retention expiration or agency request, all applicant data is permanently purged from active storage and backups within 30 days.

Agencies may request immediate data deletion at any time through the platform dashboard or by contacting the data governance team at hello@forevueinsights.com.

05

Third-party disclosure

Forevue does not sell, rent, or share applicant PII with any third party. Intelligence Layer reports are delivered exclusively to the authorized agency that initiated the screening.

Forevue may disclose information only when required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order) or when necessary to protect the safety of individuals, comply with applicable law, or enforce platform terms of service.

06

Applicant rights

Applicants have the right to:

  • Request a copy of all data collected about them.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of their data, subject to agency retention policies.
  • Understand how their behavioral data was analyzed.
  • Withdraw from the screening process at any time.
